Heat pumps are highly energy efficient in comparison to traditional heating systems. This is an important technology for enabling the electrification of buildings and can play a key role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the built environment. Heating and Cooling buildings account for a significant portion of global greenhouse gas emissions. By implementing heat pumps into our buildings, we can reduce our consumption of fossil fuels and can significantly reduce energy consumption.
